I don’t ever see a point telling people not to do something. Don’t we, as kids, learn that when it comes to no we’re immediately all for it. Don’t break promises. Don’t break hearts. Don’t break rules. Don’t forget this. Don’t remember that. Instead of focusing on negatives, let’s use positive reinforcement. Not necessarily reverse psychology. But kids wouldn’t run into the street if you told them, “Look both ways and walk” rather than “don’t run”. It’s what ingrained in your head that certain words trigger. And certain images you can’t seem to erase. We’ve all been there. And some of us keep going back.
